Verity Verification Standard

1. Introduction

The Verity Verification Standard ("Verification Standard") establishes the principles, eligibility criteria and verification requirements governing all professionals seeking verification through the Verity platform.

Verity exists to promote greater transparency, accountability and professional standards within the movement industry by providing consumers with reliable information regarding instructors' qualifications, education and professional background.

This Verification Standard forms the foundation of Verity's independent verification framework and applies to every instructor applying for, maintaining or renewing a Verity Verified profile.

Verification confirms only that an applicant has successfully met Verity's verification requirements at the time of assessment.

Verification is not a professional licence, governmental approval, healthcare authorisation or guarantee of competence, safety or client outcomes.

2. Purpose

The purpose of this Verification Standard is to:

• ·improve transparency within the movement industry;
• ·support informed consumer decision-making;
• ·encourage higher educational standards;
• ·promote professional accountability;
• ·reduce misleading qualification claims;
• ·provide a consistent verification process across multiple disciplines.

Verity believes that individuals placing their health, movement and wellbeing in the hands of a professional should have access to clear and transparent information regarding that professional's education and qualifications.

3. Independence

Verity operates as an independent verification platform.

Verification decisions are made exclusively by Verity in accordance with this Verification Standard.

While Verity may consider recognised professional frameworks developed by industry organisations, educational institutions and professional bodies, all verification decisions remain independent.

No external organisation has authority over Verity's verification decisions unless expressly stated through a formal written partnership.

4. Recognition of Industry Standards

Verity recognises the importance of internationally recognised professional standards.

Accordingly, Verity's verification framework is informed by recognised European and international principles relating to:

• ·education;
• ·anatomy;
• ·biomechanics;
• ·ethics;
• ·scope of practice;
• ·continuing professional development.

Where appropriate, Verity may reference recognised frameworks, including those developed by Active Europe, as one component of its independent assessment process.

Such references do not constitute endorsement, accreditation, certification or affiliation unless expressly confirmed in writing by both organisations.

Verity retains sole responsibility for all verification decisions.

The Standard applies equally to full-time and part-time professionals.

• ·Rehabilitation Exercise (where legally permitted)

Verity reserves the right to recognise additional disciplines where sufficient professional standards exist.

8. Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements.

Applicants shall:

• ·be at least eighteen (18) years of age;
• ·possess legally obtained professional qualifications;
• ·submit genuine documentation;
• ·provide accurate identification;
• ·maintain professional conduct;
• ·comply with applicable legislation;
• ·accept all Verity policies;
• ·maintain accurate profile information.

Applicants may not submit:

• ·altered certificates;
• ·forged documentation;
• ·misleading education histories;
• ·inaccurate qualification titles;
• ·false employment history;
• ·false insurance information.

Submission of fraudulent documentation may result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform.

9. Qualification Requirements

Applicants shall provide documentation sufficient for Verity to assess professional competence.

Documentation may include:

• ·certificates;
• ·diplomas;
• ·academic transcripts;
• ·professional licences;
• ·continuing education certificates;
• ·assessment results;
• ·identity verification documents.

Where documentation is incomplete, unclear or inconsistent, Verity may request additional evidence before making a verification decision.

Failure to provide requested information may result in rejection of the application.

10. Verification Process

Each application is assessed individually.

Verification may include:
